The Siemens House is located in the heart of the longest promenade in Poland. Piotrkowska Street is like the Champs-Elysées for Paris or 5th Avenue for New York. It is located in a prestigious location, close to the most important monuments, museums, universities - on the trail of all residents and tourists in Łódź.
From a small village, proud and industrial Łódź - the official motto of Łódź perfectly reflects the phenomenon of the city. In just a few decades, Łódź became one of the most important centers of the textile industry in Europe - a textile empire on the scale of Manchester at that time. The spectacular development is due to the manufacturers. The most enterprising individuals came to Łódź from the West and East of Europe.
Spectacular revitalization of the area around the Siemens House
Karol Scheibler, Izrael Poznański and other wealthy entrepreneurs built equally impressive residences in addition to huge factories. The city of Łódź is currently completing the largest city center revitalization program in Poland - not only the buildings themselves have undergone renovation, but entire blocks of the city center have been completely transformed.
The city has not only been restored to the lost splendor of the architecture of the times of factory prosperity, but this area has also gained new life. The pace of these changes even precedes the era of the city's development in the times of factory owners. The center of Łódź is currently a modern business district, perfectly connected to Warsaw and the planned Central Communication Port.
Łódż – inspiring city with potential for business
Łódź is returning to the splendor of the times of the manufacturers at an impressive pace. Now not only as a melting pot of entrepreneurship, but also the Polish capital of design, UNESCO City of Film and the largest center of domestic cinematography.
The city's advantage is its central location at the junction of two motorways: from north to south and from east to west of Poland. The railway connection is also very well developed and constantly being improved (including the modern Łódź Fabryczna Station), as well as the extensive system of urban and suburban transport. A cross-city tunnel will soon be built - the Łódź metro will open the agglomeration to new rail connections and improve local transport.
Once a city of the textile industry, today Łódź focuses on economic diversity and is an ideal place for business development. It is no coincidence that the Łódź Special Economic Zone was recognized by fDi Magazine (Financial Times) as the best economic zone in Poland and the third best in the world. Łódź is also distinguished from Poland by, for years, one of the highest rates of return on rental apartments. The close proximity of Warsaw, dynamic development, a large number of students and the development of infrastructure constitute the city's huge investment potential.
